The Importance of Bees

We all know that bees give us sweet, delicious honey, but that's not all. Bees help pollinate many plants including flowers, nuts, berries and fruits. Did you know that over 1/3 of all fruits and vegetables you eat are pollinated by bees? They support the growth of trees and other plants, which other animals–small or large–rely on to survive. Without bees, you wouldn't have any of your favourite fruits like blueberries, melons or apples!
